Hey Beauties….Hope you are all ready for Christmas (I said Christmas Ma, not “holiday”), or at least getting there. Today, I am putting a little twist on the Deal of the Week…I would like to show you another one of my passions…DIY. I am truly one of those people that believes why pay for something you can do yourself?
So…In preparation for the holiday and the fabulous outfits that I am sure you will be wearing, i thought I would show you a DIY easy way to accessorize those gorgeous looks with a pair of beautiful stud earrings.
All you will need is the following: bead of choice, studs with backings, and E-6000 glue (love this stuff).
Simply glue your bead of choice to the stud, let sit for 5-10 minutes, and voila…. you have a new addition to your accessory collection.
P.S. There is a bonus ladies… I will be giving these away to two lucky readers. All you have to do to enter is do one (or all) of the following:
- Post a comment
- Follow my blog
- Share this post on Facebook
- Like this post
- Tweet about this posting on Twitter
The deadline for entries is Chistmas (12/25/11)
Hey Beauties…This week’s deal of the week is actually an oldie goldie…
a cute little party dress that I got from Charlotte Russe, right before New Years Eve last year. I never actually had anywhere to wear the dress until I was asked to attend a holiday parrty hosted by Eboni Ife (The Fashionista Next Door) and Sole Society, the hottest shoe club out there. Thanks for the invite girly!
Now, the best thing about this dress, besides that it has my favorite color (red) is the price! This is one of my favorite finds, because this dress cost me all of $3.21!!! It was just too good to pass up.
So, I threw my little black blazer over it, accessorized it (thanks to my girl Stephanie), threw on my fave boots, and VOILA! What you think?
Hello Beauties…time for another Deal of the Week…
I actually got this week’s deal a week before Thanksgiving on a shopping outing with my husband…yeah I said my husband. He actually goes shopping with me… and doesn’t rush me, I know, I still think I am dreaming sometimes. Well, I found these pretty faux fur boots at Aldo, one of my favorite shoe stores.
These boots were originally priced at $100.00, but you KNOW I did not pay that much. I got them for a steal of $34.99!!! I just love em! But not only did I get these beauties I also got the matching pocketbook!
This faux fur pocketbook was just the perfect added touch to my faux fur shopping affair. It was originally priced at $48.00 and I got it for only $24.99. I checked Aldo’s website and this bag is actually on sale for an even lower price of $20.99! It comes in 2 colors, so you gotta check it out. Don’t miss out ladies!
What do you think?
I gotta say that I have ventured out lately and bought clothes, shoes, and accessories that I would not normally get including these boots and bag, but I am loving the fact that I am going outside of my comfort zone and trying new things.
So…what will you try?
Hey beautiful people!
Its time for… (drumroll please)… DEAL OF THE WEEK!!!!!
This weeks deal comes to you from Old Navy. My son and I were recently shopping during one of the best sales that I believe Old Navy has had in a minute. So, while my 8-year-old son was trying to break into the oversized gumball machine that dispenses bouncy balls, I was digging through the many colorful piles of sweaters. The sale: 75% off all adult sweaters…I mean how much better can it get?
Of the 4 sweaters I purchased, the Shawl-Collar Sweater in burnt orange was my favorite and today’s deal of the week.
The original price for this sweater was $36.94, but after 75% off, and the 10 dollars in super cash I had to apply towards the grand total, this beauty came out to a whopping……… $6.61!! Man, do I love clearance events.
Although the weather has been crazy…cold one day, hot the next, clear skies Monday, tornado warnings Tuesday, I just could not wait to put on my new sweater.
So…What you think? I think it is PERFECT for fall, if the weather would just cooperate, lol.
Only 1 more day til Turkey Day… Have you done your food shopping yet?
